Restoring What Stress Takes Away

The Reality of Stress

I know how hard it is to keep up with stress — it quietly steals our energy, health, and vitality while we’re busy coping and pushing through. Then one day, it feels like we’re sliding backward, drained and unsure how to find our footing again.

A Personal Turning Point

That happened to me. Over the course of a decade, a series of major stressors — both personal and professional — left me feeling off center. The pandemic amplified that disconnection, challenging my health, my work, and my sense of direction.

A wise friend pointed me toward meditation and mindfulness, and everything began to shift. From my first Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course, I experienced the possibility of recovery — not through pushing harder, but through presence, breath, and stillness.

“We focus so much on doing more, coping better, pushing through — trying to manage our stress.
Often at the cost of our well-being.

What we miss in all that effort is recovery — the quiet work that allows everything else to rebuild.”

A New Approach - Recovery

That discovery led me to study and teach meditation, breathwork, Qigong, and the science of stress, sleep, and recovery. I found a way to bring these practices together — a gentle yet powerful approach for clearing stress, replenishing energy, and living with stillness and calm at the center.

The Strong Heart Mission

Today, my mission is simple: to help people build back what stress takes away — our energy, health, and vitality.
I blend 20 years of helping people build strong, healthy bodies with the science of recovery and the art of calm.

Strong Heart grew from that work — a space for thoughtful guidance, restorative practice, and steady support.
A place to slow down, reconnect, and rebuild a foundation of stillness and calm that lasts.
